This unique metal figurine is welded using partly recycled steel, sourced locally. The head is almost totally recycled as are the molten joints. The metal tubing I use for the body is sometimes recycled. I have a couple of steel fabricators in Martock who let me rummage through their scrap bins. I can always find strips of steel suitable for cutting into signs.

Each one is totally unique as they are individually welded and then painted to give a quirky look. When painting, I dot the eyes slightly cross-eyed, which brings each metal figurine to life. Makes me smile every time I finish one.
